I have gone to Stephen Edwards to have him photograph numerous family events such as a wedding anniversary , birthdays , and parties . Stephen has an amazing ability to capture the beauty in people . He is especially gifted at portraits that show a depth and uniqueness of the person he is photographing . He has an eye for color , placement of objects and people .

I have also purchased at least four landscapes from Stephen . Two are of new York city and the twin towers before 09/11. They are in my entryway and elicit comments questions and admiration from my gifts . The other two are Italian landscapes . One which hangs over my fireplace is breath taking - the coast along Liguria in a town called Nervi . It evokes a feeling of dreariness and wonder . The other is another coastline shot, at sunset , with vivid colors .

I have been at several events over the years where Stephen Edwards was the photographer. By nature he is a quiet man and so he is as a photographic artist. He never intrudes the camera into the action, but very naturally documents the scene, the people ,and interactions. His photos become iconic memories.
